Opportunity intelligence
Current opportunities. Clear information.
Only published, unexpired opportunities are requested. These listings are not rankings or automated recommendations, and you decide what moves forward.

Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Liberty, Chambers, and Waller counties appear first. Remote and other Texas opportunities remain available.

Human support from the ForgeWork operator
How can we help?
Call ForgeWork when you need help using the system, reaching the right workspace, or understanding your next step. Pilot support is monitored by one authorized person, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Expect a response within two business days.
Do not enter passwords, Social Security numbers, identification numbers, medical details, diagnoses, private messages, or information about another person in Ms. Forgee.
Use the protected privacy-request form for concerns about your ForgeWork information. A human reviewer handles every request.
Signed-in participants can submit an accommodation, privacy request, or grievance and review progress through a protected self-only boundary. Every consequential outcome still requires human review.

1You control your choicesNo application or information sharing happens without the required permission.
2A person reviews important decisionsFWOS and its guides do not decide eligibility, employment, services, or certificates.
3You may correct or appealHuman Support provides correction, privacy, accommodation, and grievance pathways.
4The system keeps a review historyAuthorized actions require identity, permission, and a written reason.

How decisions are made
Technology may organize information and surface attention signals. A qualified human reviews consequential decisions, and participants retain correction and appeal pathways.
Privacy and consent controls
Access is limited by authenticated identity and database policy. Information sharing begins with no consent unless the participant deliberately chooses otherwise.
Participant voice
Participants may use Human Support to submit accommodation, privacy, and grievance requests. Submissions create protected records only after Supabase confirms success.
Human launch validation
ForgeWork Launch Test Center
Use these checks on real devices and authorized accounts. Completion is saved only on this device. It does not change FWOS records and does not certify ADA or WCAG compliance.

Protect people while testingDo not enter passwords, diagnoses, identification numbers, private messages, or another person’s information. Do not create, approve, revoke, bill, publish, or change a real record only to test a button.
Public page
Screen reader
Ready to test
Turn on Narrator, NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.
Move through headings, buttons, forms, and the Ms. Forgee dialog.
Confirm names, instructions, status changes, and errors are spoken in a useful order.
Expected result: Every control has a clear name, the reading order makes sense, and no important message is silent.
Public and signed-in pages
Keyboard only
Ready to test
Do not use the mouse or touch screen.
Use Tab, Shift + Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys, and Escape.
Confirm focus is always visible and every action can be reached and closed.
Expected result: Nothing traps the keyboard, hides focus, or requires a mouse.
Public page
Text size, zoom, and contrast
Ready to test
Test 200% text in Accessibility.
Test browser zoom at 200% and a narrow window.
Turn on stronger contrast and underlined links.
Expected result: Content reflows without overlap, clipping, missing navigation, or faint text.
Public and signed-in pages
Motion, flashing, and time limits
Ready to test
Turn on Reduce motion in ForgeWork, then repeat with the device reduced-motion setting.
Confirm moving or spoken content can be paused, resumed, restarted, or stopped.
Complete forms at a slower pace and confirm ForgeWork does not impose an unexpected user time limit. If a protected session ends, confirm the message explains how to reconnect without losing unsent work.
Expected result: No content flashes or causes unwanted motion, controls stop nonessential movement or speech, and no user task ends without clear warning and recovery.
Public and signed-in pages
Navigation and input methods
Ready to test
Use the skip link, page headings, landmarks, menus, and descriptive control labels to reach each area.
Repeat the main journey with touch, voice control, or another available assistive input method.
Confirm controls work without drag-only gestures, precise pointer movement, or device motion.
Expected result: People can find each area and operate every action with keyboard, touch, voice control, or another available input method.
Participant account
Participant journey
Ready to test
Sign in with a real participant-controlled test account.
Open My Workspace, upload a resume, return a completed consent-form PDF, and review both histories.
Confirm the participant sees and downloads only their own documents, then review Human Support, opportunities, and service choices.
Expected result: No other participant is visible, both documents stay private, and no upload or internal review authorizes employer sharing or submits an application.
Authorized administrator
Administrator journey
Ready to test
Open the administrator workspace and each permitted queue.
Confirm unavailable actions stay unavailable and written reasons are required where expected.
Do not submit a consequential action only for testing.
Expected result: The correct staff boundary appears and no access protection is bypassed.
Authorized ForgeWork operator
Sole-operator workday
Ready to test
Open Today’s action queue at the beginning of published support hours.
Review each loaded queue without submitting a test-only consequential action.
Check the approved separate process for accommodation, privacy, and grievance requests because those protected requests are not loaded into Today’s action queue.
Expected result: The operator sees what requires attention, understands what is excluded, and never mistakes an empty loaded queue for proof that no protected support request exists.
Signed out, participant, and administrator
Ms. Forgee and Ms. EWIP
Ready to test
Ask each available guidance question.
Follow every route and try a route while the destination is loading.
Confirm privacy warnings and Human Support remain easy to reach.

ForgeWork Academy
Ready to test
Review enrollment, assessment, learning plan, lessons, attendance, progress, and reporting.
Test completion and certificate controls only when a real record is ready.

Phone or narrow browser
Mobile and touch
Ready to test
Test portrait and landscape orientation.
Open navigation, Accessibility, account access, Ms. Forgee, forms, and wide tables.
Confirm targets are easy to tap and the keyboard does not cover the active field.
Expected result: No control is hidden, covered, too small, or unreachable.
If something does not work
